Born in Australia into a family with a love of travel, Stephen Liew is a published, self-taught photographer who explores widely. His passion for nature and its power leads to trips that favour eco-friendly accommodation, natural wonders and a connection to the outdoors.

His love of photography stemmed from a constant desire to try and capture the spirit and emotion of a place. After years of feedback that his images always inspire an adventure, he honed his skills and launched SJL Photography.

Stephen is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
